A message from your club captain
It is a privilege to serve as your Club Captain for 2026. I am honored to represent Boldon Golf Club and am committed to listening to your feedback while upholding the traditions and community spirit that make our club so special.
We have a busy year ahead, packed with competitive golf and social events. There have been numerous improvements on and off the course recently and more will be coming as we look to improve the clubhouse and course further. These enhancements will significantly benefit our environment, and I thank you for your continued support as we invest in the club’s future.
I am also proud to announce that this year we will be supporting The Charlie and Carter Foundation. This wonderful charity provides essential financial support to families of children with life-limiting conditions, and I look forward to our members coming together to raise funds for such a vital cause.
To our teams representing Boldon this season: I wish you the very best of luck. I hope to see many members cheering them on, both home and away, while maintaining the high standards of etiquette and sportsmanship our club is known for.
Our sponsors play a vital role in the life of the club, and I ask that you support them whenever you can. I would also like to acknowledge the fantastic team we have here—from the greenkeepers to the bar and pro shop staff—as well as the selfless volunteers on our committees. It is their hard work behind the scenes that truly makes Boldon Golf Club thrive.
I wish you all a healthy and successful 2026 on the course. I will hopefully get a game with as many groups as I can throughout the season and hopefully have a pint or 2 in the clubhouse after .

I would like to thank everyone who was able to attend the 2026 New Year’s Day drive in, showing your support which was much appreciated.

My chosen charity for 2026 is a local mental health charity based in Sunderland - Headlight, am sure u will understand why I have chosen this once u watch this powerful animation which was created with the help of the service users.
