BOLDON GOLF CLUB

Following on from the Prime Minister’s statement tonight (23 March), golf clubs, courses and facilities in England must now close. It is England Golf’s position that this deeply regrettable, but highly necessary and responsible course of action must be implemented with immediate effect and be maintained until further notice. The government has identified an urgent need to introduce new restrictions on public life and on non-essential businesses opening their doors.

This has been done to limit the spread of the Coronavirus and relieve the growing pressure on our National Health Service.

I know this is going to be a very testing time for us all and again I wanted to reiterate that we will reopen when we are advised that is safe to do so.

Boldon Golf Club wish everyone to keep safe during these unprecedented times

Founded in 1912 Boldon Golf Club is a club right at the heart of the community with a family friendly atmosphere. Having recently reached it's centenary, the traditions of the game are very much respected but a modern friendly approach to contemporary life and the enjoyment of golf is offered.
The course, designed by six time Open Champion, Harry Vardon, offers panoramic views of the North East coast line and a test to golfers of all abilities. Located on the northern outskirts of Sunderland, situated only one mile from the A19 and less than three miles south of the Tyne Tunnel, Boldon Golf Club is easily accessible from the north east's motorway network.
We look forward to welcoming you to Boldon GC whether you're visiting for the day or looking to become a member of an outstanding golf club. Boldon Golf Cub has approximately 70 member competitions during the year with mid week medals and stableford competitions in additions to the weekend events.
