Whilst holding contemporary values, the Club respects both the history and traditions of the game. We take a relaxed and welcoming stance, in return looking to members and guests to be of smart attire whether on the course or in the clubhouse.
1. COURSE
Boldon Golf Club insists all players be smartly dressed at all times when on the course. A strict dress rule is applied on the course and members are requested to take responsibility for and inform their guests of the dress rules prior to play.
All players are advised that the following items of clothing / dress are not permitted to be worn on the Course at any time:
All blue denim clothing Cargo/Combat trousers/Football or Beach shorts
Track/Shell Suits T-shirts/Vests/Football or Rugby style shirts
All types of shirts, including turtleneck golf shirts, should be tucked into trousers/shorts at all times and should not be worn outside waistbands.
Tailored shorts may be worn on the course. Knee length socks or sport socks must be worn with tailored shorts.
2. CLUBHOUSE
Whilst the Club operates a relaxed dress code in the clubhouse all members and visitors are encouraged at all times to wear attire that is considered acceptable within the environment. Smart, clean, casual clothing and denims are acceptable but any work wear, torn or ripped clothing is not. Members are requested to take responsibility for informing their guests of the Club dress rules.
The Club retains the right at their discretion to request anyone wearing clothing deemed unacceptable to leave the Clubhouse immediately
3. MOBILE PHONES
Mobile phones may be taken onto the course for emergency purposes only. Mobile phones should however remain switched off whilst on the course. Members and visitors are politely requested to have their mobile phones on silent mode within the Clubhouse and receive or make any calls away from the bar and restaurant areas.
