COURTESY ON THE COURSE
In the interest of all, players should play without delay.
No player should play until the party in front is out of range.
Players searching for a ball should signal the players behind them to pass as soon as it becomes apparent that the ball will not easily be found.
THEY SHOULD NOT SEARCH FOR FIVE MINUTES BEFORE DOING SO!
They should not continue to play until the players they have signalled through have passed and out of range.
When the play of a hole has beeen completed, players should immediately leave the putting green.
CARE OF THE COURSE
Before leaving a bunker, all players should carefully fill up and smooth over all holes and footprints made by them.
Through the green, players should ensure that any turf, cut or displaced by them (divot) is immediately replaced and pressed down and that any damage to the putting green, made by the ball is carefully repaired. Damage to the putting green caused by shoe spikes should be repaired on completion of the hole.
In taking practice swings, players should avoid causing damage to the course, particularly the tees, by removing divots.The users of golf trolleys and buggies should be mindful that neither forms of transport should be taken across any teeing ground nor INSIDE the bunker lines around the greens.
PRIORITY ON THE COURSE
A single player has no standing and must give way to a match of any kind.
If a match fails to keep its pace on the course and loses more than one clear hole on the players in front, it should allow the match following to pass.
Junior members MUST give right of way to Senior Members except when playing in a Club Competition.
The Captain has priority on the 1st Tee and should not be delayed on the course at any time.
DRESS CODE
To maintain a standard expected of Boldon Golf Club, would members and visitors please observe the following:-

Conventional golf clothing should be worn at all times with the shirt dressed inside the trousers

Blue denim jeans and clothing together with collarless shirts and tee shirts are not considered suitable dress and are not allowed on the course.

Trainer shoes and or track suits are not permitted at any time.

Tailored shorts may be worn with knee length stockings(any colour) or calf length socks which must be predominently white.

Caps should only be worn as intended by the manufacturer with the peak to the front. All caps should be removed prior to entering the club house.
